The hinterland of the Gulf of Castellammare, and the whole province of Trapani in particular, is characterized by the presence of numerous natural oases.
The reserves are closer to Castellammare:
- the natural reserve of Zingaro;
- Subject to Mount Hood;
- Reserve Forest of Alcamo;
- the salt pans of Trapani and Paceco, and the Islands of the Lagoon.
